Pitching

The most sophisticated business model and the strongest team won't help if you can't convince people of your idea. Good pitching is an art and extremely important for start-ups. Resourcefulness, rhetorical skill, and authenticity are required. Depending on the audience (partners, customers, investors), the goal and duration of the pitch may vary, but it's always about inspiring the audience with the idea in a very short amount of time. In this module, you'll learn how to present yourself and your idea convincingly and achieve the goal of your performance as best as possible. How do you appear to listeners? How can you optimize your impact? You'll get answers to these questions.

Perfect Pitch

Since learning how to pitch can only be achieved by simply doing it, following the motto "Learning by doing," your first task is to come up with a topic that you are passionate about and a goal that you want to achieve for this topic. It can, but doesn't necessarily have to be related to your start-up project. Examples: You love animals and want to convince the audience to adopt a puppy. You are a soccer fan and want to persuade the audience to buy a season ticket. Develop and practice a pitch on this topic (approximately 90 seconds). Record yourself pitching, watch the video, and ask others for feedback and suggestions for improvement. In the following videos, you will receive tips and tricks from the professionals.
